Fall is finally in full swing here in the deep South. Can I get an amen?! Seasonal living is the best in my opinion. It’s a way to measure time and absorb the changes in the season.
Lately, I’ve been digging all sorts of fall things. Naturally, I am really into autumnal flavors…pumpkin everything, but I’ve also been lovin’ some other stuff as well.
Here is a quick little round up of What I’m Lovin’ Lately.
Candles from Bath & Body Works/White Barn
I’ve been burning everything from the Mahogany Teakwood to the Leaves and Spiced Vanilla scented candles. I am obsessed with candles in general, but these scents just make everything feel a little cozier.
Ashik Wool Shag Rug from West Elm
I bought this rug for our bedroom and I can’t get enough. It’s super shaggy and the tones are muted. I love that it’s just the right amount of color without being too much.
Dr. Bronner’s Castile Bar Soap
Castile soap is really the best, but lately I’m been loving the peppermint bar castile soap. It’s so invigorating and makes getting up in the dark a little less painful. You can probably pick this up at Whole Foods, but I snagged mine from Target.
Snake Plant aka Mother In Law’s Tongue
I love all of my indoor plants, but both of my snake plants are going so well. They are perfect as the says start to get shorter because they don’t need much light at all. It’s amazing how indoor plants can bring so much life to a cold house.
Essential oils have been my jam for a long time, but I’ve recently starting using them differently. Sure I still diffuse them, but lately I’ve been making household cleaners and homemade toothpaste with them. It’s fascinating that something like this can make such an impact on your home. I might even try to make some of this face oil. Here are the ones I’ve been using from Amazon.
Every little thing about these items bring me some level of joy. Cozy up with the ones you love and snuggle in. Happy Fall Ya’ll!
