This weekend was pretty relaxed and I really needed it. I love how beautiful the trees and leaves are at this time of year, but my allergies are driving me crazy. My sinuses have been acting up, so I really needed some extra rest.
After our long run the Mr. and I decided to hike a park by the Chattahoochee River. We didn’t make it down to the river, but the trails were gorgeous. Chloe loves the trails so she was so happy to be out of our neighborhood. Its amazing to think that just 30 minutes from the middle of the City you can be transported to this autumnal place. The leaves are continuing to change more and more every week. Last week when I was at this same park the leaves weren’t quite so yellow.
Later in the afternoon I made these tasty brownies and had a glass of pinot noir. Chocolate and red wine are a match made in heaven. These brownies were so fudgy and easy to make.
After my run and morning coffee we went to a wedding. Our dear friends, Dave and Felicia got hitched! I managed to get a couple pictures before my phone died. We had never been to a Jewish wedding and it was an incredible experience. I love learning about other cultures and traditions so it was so neat seeing the entire ceremony and reception. The venue and décor were stunning and so was my friend! Felicia was absolutely beautiful and I’m so glad the Mr. and I were able to share in their special day. I am still bumming that my phone died so quickly after the reception started.
What did you do this weekend?
Have you been to any weddings lately?
