Right now I don’t have any concrete goals for this race weekend, but I do know that I want to have fun and feel prepared.
I haven’t really been paying as much attention to detail as I normally would for a marathon and that’s okay. It’s the holiday season and I don’t want to miss anything!
Over the past couple weeks I’ve gotten some solid training runs in. I have been getting my long runs in as well as pushing myself in some challenging workouts. I have also been focusing on a lot of strength and weight work too. Kettlebells are my new bestie and it’s been nice incorporating them again. I feel strong and ready, but still pretty nervous about the whole race weekend.
I imagine from here on out I will just be focusing on maintaining my current level of fitness and staying as well rested as I can.
