The New Year always brings new goals and new resolutions. This year I have decided to separate my running goals and my personal goals. In a lot of ways they overlap, because some affect the others but these are just the things that I want to improve on personally. I will be posting a video showing my running goals soon so stay tuned for that.
Let’s get right to it!
- Adventure. The Mr. and I loved our vacations in 2015 and want to build on that. We’ve seen some incredible places, but are hungry for more. When I was a girl, I didn’t look at things the way I do know. I don’t see limits anymore. I don’t think there is anywhere we can’t go. I want to do it all and I sure as hell want to see it all. We have some trips already in the works and I can’t wait to share those details later!
- Love The Little Things – Find The Flourish. So much of my life consists of me always working towards the big goals or pushing toward the bigger picture. This year I want to enjoy the little things and look for the joy in everything. This blog is about me finding what makes me flourish and sharing that with all of you. I want to enjoy the little things and learn to stop and find the flourish in the random daily things.
- Self Love/Body Image. Before I got sick and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I was in the best shape of my life and had just completed my first half marathon. Since being diagnosed in 2013, my body has changed. It looks different, feels different and behaves differently than it used to and I am still learning to love my body. I started trying to learn to love my body again in 2015, but I want to really work on it some more. My body has done things that I never thought were possible so I need to give myself a break. I talked about this a bit in this post about ditching the scale, but I still have a long way to go.
I think I can push myself to accomplish my goals and make these resolutions stick. I think I will try to do a couple check ins and let ya’ll know how it is going throughout the year.
