Hi ya’ll! There isn’t much time before the New York City Marathon, but I thought I would log my training and share with you all anyways. I think it’s nice to feel accountable to something and I also like to look back at my training log months down the road.
I look a full 5 days off after the Chicago Marathon and worked back into it slowly.
Here’s how it all played out 🙂
10/15 Saturday: 45 minutes of easy spinning
10/16 Sunday: 2 slow miles, long dog walk + Tone It Up Beach Yoga with Karena
10/17 Monday: 3 easy miles on the treadmill + clams, bridges and supermans
10/18 Tuesday: 5 miles at GMP (12:10 average) – I am super proud of this run! Not only did I come back and hit my paces, but this route is super hilly and challenging. Double win.
10/19 Wednesday: 5 easy paced miles on the treadmill + clams, bridges and supermans
10/20 Thursday: 3.24 miles below GMP (11:10, 11:31, 11:29, 11:46) <– Wowza! These felt fast.
10/21 Friday: REST
10/22 Saturday: 9.5 hilly miles
10/23 Sunday: PNC Atlanta Track Club 10 Miler – recap coming soon!
Total: 37.74 miles
