I wanted to share my goals for the month earlier, but clearly that didn’t happen. Between the holiday at the beginning of the month, increasing my mileage, trying to fundraise for RMHC, my mom visiting and gearing up for our trip to San Francisco next week I have been a busy gal. I’ve been Thinking Out Loud about so much this month…
July has been a critical month for my training. The bulk and peak of my mileage will take place in August and early September before I taper for the Chicago Marathon (my goal marathon) so this month has been all about trying to stay healthy and increase my base of both miles and strength.
I know that the stronger I am going into August and September the better those months will be both physically and mentally.
My Goals for This Month:
- Strength Training
- Glute Bridges (50 each week)
- Clamshells (50 each week)
- Yoga (2 sessions this month)
- Barre (3 sessions this month)
- Stay focused on quality speed workouts/pace
- Trail Runs (2 runs for this month)
